El Dia de los Muertos

We spent some time learning about El Dia de los Muertos by sharing stories tasting Pan de Muertos. We culminated our study of the holiday by creating block print calaveras. The kids had a great time learning

about what "printing" means (not of the laser or jet variety) and creating their very own calavera design... though they probably would've preferred skulls made of sugar!
