"I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character. "

-Martin Luther King, Jr.

After learning about Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and his contributions to civil rights in modern America we discussed the worth of all people, no matter the color of their skin. We also spent some time learning about the life and art of Andy Warhol in order to create pop-art self portraits as a reminder to treat all people fairly and respectfully.
